After installing SQL 2000 SP3, error DB Library : Unexpected EOF from SQL Server

After I installed SP3 to MS SQL 2000 Server, client are not able to connect.
client receive this error :
DB-LIBRARY Error ; Unexpected EOF from SQL Server.
Client are old application in ObjectView, bat all was Ok before this
upgrade.
Can anyone advice solution ?
