I have a single node of RS server using another node of SQL 2000
server. I applied the SP1, developed reports, and everything is fine.
I then wanted to install a second node of RS server, but unfortunately
the setup fails with the following error:
Report Server Database is a different version and cannot be used for
this installation.
Unfortunately I don't have pre-SP1 version of RS databases backed up.
Any safe workarounds? You have to install RS using a temporary DB name during setup. After
installing it, upgrade it to SP1. Then, use rsconfig.exe to point to the
old database and rsactivate to join the farm. You can then clean up your
temp database.
